CULTURAL & DIETARY FOODS - Continued

We are constantly searching for more products that reflect the diverse food needs of our customers.

Through customer surveys, direct customer feedback, and communication with other food organizations, we have been able to receive relevant feedback about which products work best for our community. This year we hosted a pop-up event at the food bank with a Seattle-based organization, Alimentando al Pueblo, to talk in depth with the Latinx community about the obstacles faced around Latinx food access and distribution on Orcas. We took this information and are currently working with other food distributors on the island to create pathways for more equitable food distribution.
